The kids worked hard on sounding out words today. We completed four
pages in our reading workbooks, which is a lot of work! We started
counting patterns today, such as counting by 5s and 10s. We also visited
the computer lab and read "The Hat". Tomorrow, we will start something
called "Above the Line Groups" in which children get to switch rooms and
meet with other teachers and kids and work on being above the line. More
information will be sent home tomorrow. Thanks!

Welcome Back!

What a great day! The kids did a great job of keeping it together today,
even thought hey were very excited to see everyone. We practiced
beginning sounds, counting to 20, read a story about the wind, and made
snowmen to decorate the hallway. Tomorrow is library day so please send
books if you still have them.
